prefer extremes for broad categories, prefer middles for narrow cats

A

Shape mostly to identify membership
Depends on domain
Natural kinds different from artifact (no associations across, but within)
Function too (plausibility of design)
Creator’s intention (accidental/intentional newspaper hat)
Look longer if category of object hidden changes (diff thing!)
