Defensive (prevent from getting worse) but not stop spill. Know who needs to be contacted

Personnel abating or conduct maintainence that can disturb friable
MAP training - Inspector
Inspectors of schools or other public buildings to identify potential ACMs
MAP training - Management Planner
Prepare Management plans. Must have been inspector first and then upgrade to management planner
MAP training - Project designer
Designs activities for asbestos related activities
Asbestos - OSHA individual standard - CFR
29 CFR 1910.1001
Lead certification - Renovator
Visual inspections to determine lead containing dusts have been removed, cleans after lead containing dust removed.
Lead certification - Dust Sampling Technician
Post-project air sampling to verify environment below threshold for lead dust.
UST Class A operator DEF
Resp for compliance, Ensures appropriate indiviauals for operations, maintenance and record keeping
UST Class B operator DEF
Individuals DIRECTLY resp for operations, record keeping and maintenance
UST Class C operator DEF
Trained by Class A or B and will respond to alarms/emergencies releases. Must be trained in appropriate actions
UST Class A & B operator - must receive training within
30 days of assuming duties
UST Class C operator - must receive training by
B4 assuming duties
HazMat employer - DOT considers a business as such if any employee does any of the following
- Transport HazMat (inc waste), 2. Prepare/package HazMat for shipment (inc waste) 3. Sell/manufacture packaging for HazMat (inc reconditioning, fabricating, inspecting & marking HazMat packaging)
