What are confessional schools in Weimar Republic ?
Confessional schools are faith based schools predominately Protestant, Catholic and Jewish. Most schools were confessional schools.

The socialist post-war government wanted a new,fairer,education system with a mixed, not confessional,intake and no religious education.
