Q

What are the three index laws?

A
  • when multiplying, add the indices
    e. g. 3^2 x 3^3 = 3^5
  • when dividing, subtract the indices
    e. g. 5^4 / 5^2 = 5^2
  • with brackets, multiply the indices
    e. g. (4^2)^3 = 4^6
