Synonyms: refinement, delicacy.
Ex: She had such finesse during the interview that they hired her immediately.
Incessantly
Describes an action something that you do that is non-stop.
Synonyms: endlessly, constantly
Ex: He complained incessantly so no one wanted to hang out with him.
Incessant
Non-stop, without ending
Synonyms: endless, constant
Ex: The incessant noise of the fan was distracting during the test.
Odious
Describes something deserving hatred
Synonyms: abominable, detestable
Ex: The odious crime shocked the entire town.
Nocturnal
Describes something that is active at night.
Ex: The bat finds food at night because it is nocturnal.
Palpable (adj)
Able to be touched or felt (as if you can, but not physically)
Synonym: tangible, perceptible
Example: I felt a palpable sense of relief
Tangible (adj)
Describes something that has substance or reality, capable of being touched a precisely identified (more than palpable)
Synonym: touchable
Example: Although I had no tangible evidence, I was certain that someone snooped in my locker.
Disarming (adj)
Describes something that removes feelings of unfriendliness or mistrust.
Synonym: endearing, sweet
Example: The con artist disarming smile made us trust him.
Analytical
Describes something that is skilled in breaking a whole into it’s part and examining
Synonym: logical
Example: The lawyer presented an analytical argument for the defenders innocence.
Futile
Describes something that has no result or effect.
Synonym: fruitless, ineffective
Example: Even though we prepared for the hurricane our efforts were futile because the windows broke.
Condone
To forgive, overlook, or allow an offense (something bad)
Synonym: disregard, allow
Analyze (verb)
To study the parts of something
Synonyms: breakdown, dissect
Example: The data was reported and analyzed by the computer
Preclude (verb)
To prevent or make impossible beforehand
Synonyms: prevent
Retribution (noun)
Punishment for doing something wrong
Synonyms: vengeance, payback
Avenge (verb)
To get revenge by punishing the wrong door
