Visible pus surrounding teeth and gums
Diabetes, heart disease and stroke
Affects wbc which defend against bacteria
Coronary artery disease, disease of blood vessels and arteries, stroke
Clogged arteries in the leg
Increased depth of pockets due to gum disease
Build up of plaque and tartar at the gumline
