Uncommon, torsion of stomach, usually acute, associated with diaphragmatic defect.
1) Severe sudden pain, dissension, upper GI bleeding
2) production of a little vomitus
3) * inability to pass NG tube
(Borcart’s triad)
Plain Xray- gas filled viscous
Acute volvulus- surgical EMERGENCY. stomach reduced, uncoiled, diaphragm. Defect repaired
Ascites
