Literary devices

A

Repetition-emphasises death in each stanza and repeats the word ‘nothing’ in the last stanza to suggest the emptiness of life.
Enjambment between stanzas 2-3, drags out ending.
Listing-elongates everything, almost too long, like life when living it, it’s inevitable that we will die.
