What is target of MTI-101? What is its unique mechanism of action?

A

Multiple Myeloma cells (plasma) in bone marrow. It is the only drug that induces necrosis, not autophagy or apoptosis. Binds to CD44 inhibiting it, mimicing fibronectin.
