1956- Nasser nationalizes the Suez Canal which makes Britain and France mad because they had owned it. They team up with Israel and Israel attacks Egypt with France and Britain showing up a few days later. Arab nations cut off oil supply to France and Birtian which makes the british people mad. The US and the UN negotiate peace. Israel retreats, the UN will saationb in the Sinai Peninsula. Israel can use the Straits of Tiran.

Al-Nakba- War of Independance. Israel wins and declares itself a country. They take the land given to them by resolution 181. The rest of the land goes to Arab countries.

1967 War 6 day war

All the Arab countries make a pact to protect eachother during times of war. Nasser makes the UN leave the Siani Peninsula. Nasser closes the straights of Tiran and puts troops in the Siani Peninsula. Arabs lose terribly.

Golda Meir from Israel will not compromise or follow the UN resolution 242. Sadat talks to Israel and the Camp David Accords happen. That is where Egypt and Israel talked.
