Abbreviations, Names and Descriptions of Key Documents Flashcards
AMCO
Our network system that is used company-wide to build jobs and handle inventory. We will be switching to Stone Profit Systems (SPS) soon.
TOF (Template Order Form)
This comes from the builder and includes the exact location of each counter-top, color, edge, etc
PO (Purchase Order)
A form of payment that is issued for each specific job. Accounting uses this to collect payment after the job is complete. The ‘Money’.
EPO (Extra Purchase Order)
Also a form of payment, but is usually for additional work being done aside from the main job. An ‘Add-on’. It’s used in addition to PO if needed.
FE (Final Estimate)
Estimate done in AMCO (SPS) after the measurements for each piece have been entered. Based on counter template (FFCF).
FQ (Final Quote)
This quote includes all charges, material, and labor of the entire job. This is based on measurements done at the job site. It may be adjusted to match Take Off.
FFCF (Final Fabrication Confirmation Form)
Templators use these sheets to draw the exact dimensions of each counter-top. They do this at the job site by measuring the installed cabinets. It also includes symbols and a legend.
SOS (Special Order Sink)
These sinks are requested on the TOF from the builder. They are not part of our inventory stock. These must be ordered from sink purchaser. Approximately 7-10 days from when delivery is needed.
FO (Fabrication Order)
This is what is sent to Planning and Production. All information must be verified that it matches FFCFs and cleared before it is sent.
WO (Work Order)
These are used for recuts or revisits that have to be done after the main job has already been cut.
COC (Certificate of Completion)
Sent with every install folder. Install department collects and sends to accounting as verification that the job has been completed and signed by builder and homeowner.
PQ (Preliminary Quote)
This quote is made by the sales team for retail sales. It includes the sales price along with estimated square footage.
CUMOS (Cut Under Mount On Site)
Most of the sink hole cutouts are done in the shop prior to install. In some instances, it is best to cut on site. Examples: Farm Sinks or sink w/ seam in the middle
Take Off
Some builders have Take Offs for their plans. A Take Off includes individual and overall measurements of counter-top pieces. Some POs base their amounts on the dimensions given in the Take Off.
