A

Rumbling of the large intestine.

What is “tinkling” in regards to the abdominal PE and what does it indicate?

A

High pitched fountain sound in the abdomen on auscultation. Indicates intestinal air and fluid under high pressure in a dilated bowel.

A

A

A
