27
Q

Amphoteric (3)

A

Substance/compound is able to react as a base and acid
Contain metals from the transition metals
Usually lead, zinc and aluminum.

28
Q

Ammonium salt + base

A

Salt + water + ammonia

29
Q

Titration method (5)

A
  1. Put alkali + indicator into conical flask
  2. Add acid to burette
  3. Add acid slowly to alkali until neutralized
  4. Add it to evaporating basin and heat so water evaporates a little
  5. Remove from heat and allow to fully evaporate

A

Generally acidic

32
Q

Metallic oxides

A

Generally basic
