Signs and symptoms of ACS?

A
  • Chest pain; heavy with nil relief
  • SOB
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Radiation to jaw and L arm
  • Everybody presents differently with ACS, can be atypical symptoms

ACS Treatment?

A
  • 12 lead to identify if cause is cardiac
  • Aspirin
  • GTN
  • Pain relief
  • Oxygen (if indicated)
  • Rapid transport if STEMI confirmed, consult specialists via phone
