5 rules to make comparative and superlative adj.

when word has one syllable and ends with…
‘e’, add ‘r’ to make it a comparative
add ‘st’ to make it a superlative

a consonant, double the last letter and + ‘er’ to make comparative

1 syllable word but has 2 consonants/vowels
