A branch of the abdominal aorta (L1)
What are the relations of the superior mesenteric artery?
It crosses anteriorly by the Splenic vein and neck of pancreas
What are the main branches of the superior mesenteric artery?
Jejunal and ilial arteries
What are the other branches of the superior mesenteric artery?
Middle colic, right colic and ilialcolic
