When a country gains economic success like
businesses were going well. Unemployment rate was low
wages were high. This was called the economic boom for America.

at first America was not involved due to the policy of isolationism And they could only loan weapons and money from banks which increased employment. As the war finished and all the loaned money came back, america invested the money into the economy

From 1916 to 1927 the electricity usage rate went from 15% to 70% meant there was more demand for ultra modern gadgets like vacuums and microwaves . creating these gadgets decreased unemployment rates

The 1920s was a time of culture change for many Americans. It was a time for fun and loud music and many were paid well.
What was significant about jazz music during the roaring 20s
it origionated from african americans and as they started moving to the northern states for work,many people started listening to jazz
The loud, lively music to mini young teens from all colours and slowly was being played and dance moves and nightclubs and bars in big cities, like Chicago and New York
Just provides a great career path for African-Americans musicians like Louis Armstrong

many studios were built in many places like Hollywood, California and Los Angeles
star system was introduced which allowed many stars to be accessable for the media

Sports like baseball and players like Babe Ruth became celebrity in 1930 they received around 80,000 a year which is like 7 million today due to the broad audience watching the game

They were restricted, and could not vote
Middle and upper-class women were expected to act politely, and their relationships with men were controlled strictly

Women took over jobs that were meant for men
They worked hard just like men and their pay gave them a sense of independence

People began to sell, because what was being spread was that companies were struggling, and failing, they would sell the shares and even drop the prices to get rid of them
