16
Q

What is the treatment for CHD

A

Drug-Asprin, thin blood, makes platlets less likely to clump together
Stent-small tube inserted to keep artery open
Angioplasty-widents atery by inserting deflated balloon before inflating it. Stenet can also be inserted at the same time to remain after balloon
Coronary bypass-Artery from the patients leg or arm is grafted onto damaged artery

17
Q

What is the adaptations of arteries

A

Thick elastic layer and wall
