Describing words
اَلْ مُشَارَ اِلَّيْةٌ
Pointing to - what you’re indicating to but you’re not directly mentioning it in the sentence (directed to/object of the topic)
Every اِسْمُ لْاِ شَرَة has a مُشَارَ اِلَّيْةٌ
E.g. ذٰلِكَ مَسْخِدْ
اِسْمُ لْاِ شَرَة = ذٰلِكَ
اَلْ مُشَارَ اِلَّيْةٌ = مَسْجِدْ
هـَمْزَةُ الْوَصْل
Hamazatul Wasl
An Alif with a Hamza
A connecting Hamza that is pronounced at the beginning of a word, e.g, اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰة
It is dropped in pronunciation when preceded by another word (becomes silent).
E.g. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰة وَاسْتَغْفِرُ للّٰة
