What is the definition of a primary appliance?
A primary appliance is the first strike firefighting appliance.
It has a pump, carries water and is specifically designed for the combating of fires and incidents.

Secondary appliances have specialist applications and are normally used in conjunction with primary appliances at larger fires or specific incidents.

What is an extended primary?
When the maintenance area is depleted of primary appliances and a job comes in for their area.
The 2 nearest primaries will be selected and if a secondary appliance from the maintenance area is available, they will also be selected to attend.
What is the exception when recommending on a 599 event type?
Mass casualty event and when raising GARS for EMR response.

- Update event type to 138 and accept
