अपराह्नसमये LOC

A

अपराह्नसमये LOC – THIS IS TOTALLY [ND] BUT APPARENTLY = HINDI FOR ‘AFTERNOON TIME’, WHILE अपराह्न = ‘NOON’ IN HINDI AS WELL.
\
THE MEANING ABOVE MAKES PERFECT SENSE IN CONTEXT. BUT I GUESS THE ETYMOLOGICAL MEANING COULD BE ‘on the occasion of another day’:
अपर ‘other’ अहन् ‘day’ समय ‘occasion, coming together’
BUT अपर CAN ALSO MEAN ‘later’ - SO THAT’S THE EXPLANATION HERE
