तृष्णे देवि

A

तृष्णे देवि ‘O thirsty/greedy/lustful goddess!”
IT MAKES SENSE IN CONTEXT HERE FOR THIS TO BE THE PERSONIFICATION OF GREED. I AM NOT SURE IF A SPECIFIC HINDU GODDESS IS BEING REFERRED TO AND THERE IS NO NOTE IN B&K. JHA P. 688 HAS NO NOTE, JUST RENDERS ‘O Goddess of Desire!”
