What are the 3 functions white blood cells have to deal with pathogens that have entered the body
They can ingest microorganisms, produce antibodies or produce antitoxins
Describe the process of white blood cells engulfing microorganisms
White blood cells will essentially wrap themselves around the microorganism and engulf it completely. They will then digest the microorganisms absorbing any nutrients it may have before depositing its waste products, sugar and water
