Question 1

Before bailing a prisoner you must

Answer 1

B - Complete a BAIL BOND and read it to the prisoner, who must then sign the bail bond.
A - Have AUTHORITY from the watch house senoir sergeant.
R - Ensure you have the RIGHT prisoner.
R - Complete a RECEIPT for the property.

Question 2

When bailing a prisoner you must ensure the following has been completed.

C - The CUSTODY CHARGE SHEET has been completed correctly.
H - a HANDWRITING sample has been obtained for the fingerprint form.
A - The prisoner ADDRESS and other details have been verified so they can be located.
F - FINGERPRINTS and/or palmprints have been obtained.
P - A PHOTO has been taken.
A - AUTHORITY to bail the prisoner has been obtained from the supervisor.
N - A NOT WANTED check has been checked.
