History: Marzen beers were once brewed strong for long summer storage. In 1810 Marzen was used to celebrate the royal wedding that has become the modern-day Oktoberfest.

(Speciation is a small, Grand Rapids brewery that opened in Jan. 2017. They collaborated with our brewery students and provided the yeast strain for this beer)
