Auto-ignition, toxic chemicals, inadvertent separation from aircraft, high heat, protruding surfaces and motor detonation.
What is the purpose of color coding or banding of weapons?
To allow for instant identification of ordnance.
Is the weapon color coding important?
Yes.
When a weapon is marked yellow what does that indicate?
That the weapon is a high explosive.
When a weapon is marked brown what does it indicate?
That the weapon is a rocket motor.
When a weapon is marked blue what does it indicate?
That the weapon is a training round or inert.
