Body Works Flashcards
How would you help your client turn over discreetly, and avoid getting tangled in the sheets?
- Ask client to bring arms and lift abdomen while you gently remove the pillow
- ask them to lie back onto table and relax
- lift top sheet like a tent so they can turn over freely without being tangled
- ask client to slowly and carefully roll towards you so they don’t roll off
- once rolled over, place sheet and blanket back on top of them and replace any necessary pillows to ensure comfort
