When infants start crawling (6 months) , they need attachments for protection and for comfort if they get hurt. Unlike monkey infants who cling to their mothers fur.

A

Minnesota-parent child which followed participants from infancy to late adolescence. They found continuity between early attachment and later emotional behavior.
