what is a close pend?

A

a ticket that cannot be closed for some reason

looks bad on service as customer doesnt have closure on their rental

A

chaging the return date and time

bad because speeding tickets cannot be allocated to a customer if we backdate instead of getting extension

A

its a collection but you cant collect until later - offhires at 9pm

A

when a customer is a no show we can void the ticket

what is a force charge?

A

when a customer becomes unreachable or uncooperative and we are no longer able to take payment but they have signed the contract
sends a ‘debt letter’ to say they have agreed to pay this and owe us x amount
hits debts that month so make sure to exhaust all other options first

what is a remittance

A

a payment thats been made that is attached to an invoice but unsure of what the payment is for

like a recipt when an account pays into the bank
but havent said what the payment is for so you send it away to find out

got money in our bank that isnt attached to an invoice so we ask for a remittance to match up

A

make a debt plan
allocate accounts to every person to keep on top of
chase accounts before it gets bad
build relationship with accounts
one branch is allocated an account to chase to save lots of branches calling the same people
