INIZI WINES

A

A.J. and Jen Filipelli & John and Kirsti Harley are the co-founders of INIZI Wines.

A series of random events brought us together . . . Founders A.J. and John became friends while attending Fresno State University. A.J. studied Viticulture (farming of grapes) and John studied Enology (winemaking). Their mutual love of wine made them quick and life-long friends. After graduating in 2007, A.J. quickly moved up in his respected field to become the Area Manager for a large vineyard management company, and now farms 2,500 acres of premium vineyards in Napa Valley and Sonoma. Jen moved out to Calistoga from Houston, Texas to expand her career & knowledge in wine, and readily found a home at Hunnicutt Winery in St. Helena where she was the Director of Sales & Hospitality for four years. She recently joined the team at Fisher Vineyards as the Sales and Hospitality Manager.

John’s story is similar. After Graduating in 2008, he moved up quickly in his respected field becoming winemaker in 2011 for a small Sonoma Winery. Currently, John is Winemaker for a Start up Winery in Sebastopol, CA. overseeing 13 projects and 50,000 cases/year. Kirsti moved out from Salt Lake City, Utah to pursue a career in wine. Kirsti quickly found a home with MedLock Ames Winery/Alexander Valley Bar. She is currently the General Manager of the Alexander Valley Bar where she splits her time as the sprits buyer, Event Coordinator and all the while creating garden inspired cocktails.
