Measures taken within organizations to correct imbalances and offering appointment, promotions, and other opportunities for minorities.

This preference is thought to be a key aspect of career decision making and the choices that are made.
Career education
A systematic effort to influence the career development of students and adults through various types of educational strategies.
Guidance information system (GIS)
A computer program that contains information about occupation, military careers, higher education, and financial assistance.
