A

DESERT SHIELD became DESERT STORM with the objective of liberating Kuwait from Iraq. SP were tasked with securing air bases, providing dignitary support, securing classified info and resources, and counterterrorism.

On June 25, 1996, Security Police members noticed a suspicious vehicle in Saudi Arabia. Sergeant Gurrero directed evac of towers, blast left 19 dead and more than 260 injured. led to major FP changes.
