Safety

A

The STOP LUG rests on the STOP PROJECTION when Venturi is open.
STOP PROJ keeps locking lever forward when Venturi is open.
SAFTEY PROJ prevents full travel of foreign Lin when Venturi is not fully closed.
LOCKING PROJ locks Venturi in closed position.

Misfire in Training

A
  1. Announce misfire and keep SP
  2. 5 seconds, check back blast and recock
  3. Pull trigger (repeat 1-3)
  4. Place on SAFE
  5. Wait 2 min to eliminate possibility of hangfire
  6. AG removes round and checks for cause and effect
  7. If round is bad, dispose IAW sops

ADM 401 (Area Defense Munition)

Carries payload of 1100 flachettes or 1000 ball bearings.
Desperation of 5-10 flachettes/bearings per square meter at 100m.

HE 441D

A

For combating troops in open or in defilade.
Fuse can be set to impact or air burst.
Shell contains 800 steel pellets which are evenly distributed upon detonation, creating a highly lethal cloud.
Equipped with brush safety fuse. The 441D RS(reduced sensitivity) has even less sensitive fuse for heavily vegetated areas.
