Q

what organelles are in plant cells but NOT animal cells?

A

chloroplast- carry out photosynthesis to make food using sunlight
vacuole- a large membrane bound bag that contains cell sap

Q

differences between the structure of a bacterial cell and a plant/animal cell

A
  • bacterial cells are prokaryotic and plant/animal cells are eukaryotic
  • bacterial cells don’t have a nucleus they have chromosome instead
  • eukaryotic tend to be larger than prokaryotic
  • existence of vacuoles
  • flagella mobility
