observation: swelling, cervical posture as loss of cervical lordosis is a sign of WAD chen et al 2009,nystagamus, unilateral sweating

neural integrity test as it is a spinal cord injury we want to rule out any serious pathologies eg a lower motor neurone lesion if there are any dull reflexes

Quebec scale assessements (ROM, SA, dermatomal assessment)
- suspect grade 2 whiplash but testing to rule out grade 3

Kemp test: suspect facet joing syndrome due to lack of pain upon extension and rotation from mechanical injury. schofferman et al 2008 facet join injury is the must cause of neck pain after whiplash.

norkin et al 2016 for muscle length as this assessment can help identify if changes in muscles extensibility are contributing to a movement impairment

cluster if wainer: spurlings, distraction, ULLT, rotation less than 60 degress (wainner et al 2003 all 4 are posititve in presence of cervical radiculopathy)

PAIVM: to reproduce symptoms, assess end feel and prepare a treatment for a specific vertebrae
