1. Speed: Computers can process millions of instructions per second, making them incredibly fast.
2. Accuracy: Computers are extremely accurate, and consistently provide accurate output to operations, if provided the correct input.
3. Diligence: Computers can perform billions of operations over a long period, consistently providing accurate results, without getting tired or complaining
4. Storage Capability: Computers can store large amounts of data and information in multiple different formats, although the computer’s primary memory can only store a limited amount of data, its secondary memory/storage can store large amounts of data.
5. Versatility: Computers can perform multiple different tasks, provided the computer has been programmed to perform said tasks.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of computers?

Advantages:

-> They are fast and can perform long tasks in shorter periods.
-> They provide jobs, eg Data analysts, programmers, etc.
-> They provide a high level of accuracy.
-> They make tasks that would otherwise be difficult, and easy.
-> They facilitate communication and the flow of information.

Disadvantages:

-> They are expensive to buy, set up, and maintain.
-> If damaged, it costs a lot of money to repair.
-> They can be used for criminal activity like scamming or hacking.
-> They can lead to the sensitive information of its users being breached.
-> They can lead to certain workers losing their jobs, increasing the rate of unemployment.

Computers could be used to:

-> communicate with other computer users.
-> work, for jobs require the use of computers, like computerized accounting, programming, etc.
