essay question: transcendentalism vs. unitarianism

A

One of the most prestigious unorthodox religions is Unitarianism, that is, Unitarianism denies the Trinity and therefore the deity of Christ. Jesus, to the Unitarians, was a great religious teacher, but He was only a man, so His death provided no atonement for sin. Instead, Unitarianism teaches that people should simply live moral, upright lives to please God.
transcendentalism is a liberal, unbiblical philosophy.
Like Unitarianism, transcendentalism denied the miraculous, but it went even further in its teachings. Basically, it put man in the place of God.
