It took place July 1 1861 and the significance is that it was the first battle that started off the civil war and that it made both sides (union and confederate) that the civil war would not be an easy win.
What was the anaconda plan?
It was a plan proposed by general Winfield Scott, and it proposed that they blockade the south by sea and taking control of the Mississippi river forcing the south to submit.
What was the battle of Ironclads?
It was a battle between the first 2 ironclad vessels between the union and confederacy, the union thought they would have the upper hand because of them but the union found the remnants of the destroyed one and put it back together which was a surprise to the union
What were some advantages the north had over the south and vice a versa?
The north had an advantage because they were more advanced in manufacturing and had better weapons, a better economy and such, while the south didn’t have these things they had an economy that was established on crops and agriculture.

He would not interfere with it where it was but would not let it expand anywhere else

It was in 1862, it took place in Hardin County Tennesse, and it was significant because it was a key victory for the union and it caused the union to split

The battle of vicksburg was in 1863, it was in vicksburg pennsylvania, and it was significant because it set the precedent for trench warfare and the union got control of the Mississippi river, and it was part of the canal plan.

It was created General Ulysses Grant and it involved digging a canal in the Mississippi, to avoid his ships getting attacked by the confederates and having their extra weapons and supplies taken

It happened in 1863, in Maryland, and it was the first southern invasion in the north, and there was no conclusive decision but Lincoln took it as a victory for the union, this war allowed Lincoln to issue the emancipation proclamation

It was in 1863 and it took place in Pennsylvania, and it was significant because it was the bloodiest battel of the war and it ended up being a union victory, and it inspired lincolns Gettysburg address and it would be the last time lee invaded the north.

It was a march the union made into the south where they destroyed and took crops, burned barns and eventually made it to savanah

It was put in place in 1863 and it stated that all able bodied 25-30 year olds would have to serve a 3 year term in the union, also caused the draft riot
