roger williams came to boston and was upset that they just stole the land from the native americans instead of buying it he also believed in the seperation of church and state. so before becoming captured he fleed to Rhode Island and established his ideal colony there. this included the purchasing of land from the native americans and the seperation of church and state. he also set up the first baptist church along with later searching the world for the answers to the questions he had

she believed that you could interpret the bible yourself and that you didnt need the priests to tell you and most of the priests she said were frauds. she said she received this info from the revelation she had and fleed to Rhode Island then after her husbands death she went to ny where she was eventually killed
