Inherited variation is a characteristic his is a result of genetic information from the parents.
What is environmental variation?
Environmental variation is cause by the surroundings

What is continuous data?
Continuous data is where differences between living things can have any numerical value e.g. any height from tallest to shortest is possible so it Is continuous.
Give an example of continuous variation.
- height
- weight
- foot length
- heart rate
What is discontinuous data?
Discontinuous data is where differences between living things can only be grouped into categories e.g. gender only has 2 types.
Give an example of discontinuous variation.
- eye colour
- gender
- rolling tongue
