Dermatitis

Congenital hereditary condition – partial or total lack of pigment (melanin) in the skin, hair, eyes.
Albinism

Pressure Injury
Scraping away of the skin by mechanical process or injury.
Abrasion
Localized collection of pus.
Abscess
Malignant epithelial tumor - seldom metastasizes, but invades local tissue and may recur in the same location. Excessive sun exposure.
Basal Cell Carcinoma
Infection of skin, mouth or vagina –yeast type fungus. Also called Thrush

Any visible change in tissue resulting from injury or disease. Sores, wounds, ulcers, tumors.
Lesion
Thickening of the skin.
Pachyderma
Infection of skin, cluster of boils (_____) both caused by staphylococcal bacteria.
Painful skin nodule in hair follicle.
Carbuncle & furuncle
Inflammation of skin and subcutaneous tissue, infection, redness, pain, heat, swelling.
Cellulitis
Noninfectious, inflammatory skin disease characterized by redness, blisters, scabs, and itching.
Eczema
Slit or cracklike sore in the skin.
Fissure
