A

A joining of a nucleus from a male and female sex cell. the sperm meets the egg in the oviduct and one penetrates. This sperms nucleus fuses with the eggs nucleus. The fertilised egg is called a zygote.

He cells have fused and now become one. The fertilised egg cell begins to divide forming a ball of many cells. These cells are known as zygotes. It may take several days for the zygote to reach the uterus lining and pregnany (gestation) has begun… . It is now an embryo
