Egoism
Emphasizes the aim of always acting to perceived self-interest usual long term even at the expense of others if necessary
Utilitarian
The aim of producing the greatest possible good for the greatest possible number
Act Utilitarian
Jeremy Betham, Maintain the right to do thing in any situation is the action that produces the greatest possible good for the greatest possible number
Rule Utilitarian
Inspired by John Stuart Mill, maintains that the right thing to do is follow riles that promote the greatest possible good, assuming they are followed generally
Ethical Theories
Must have some type of description
Explains the nature of moral value

Altruism
Doing food for its own sake without expectation or reward
Psychological egoism
theory that people are inherently selfish
Ethical Egoism
Is the view that people ought to b selfish or at least self - interested
