Q

What is the second step in endochondral ossification?

Q

What is the fifth step in endochondral ossification?

A

epiphyseal plates form between epiphyses and diaphysis

resting zone - cartilage resting from growing

proliferation zone - cartilage is growing; bone is growing in length at both ends

epiphyseal line - where epiphyseal plate ossifies and bone becomes more dense.
