A blue precipitate is formed

A sludgy green precipitate is formed

What is the test for NH4 (ammonia)?
Damp litmus paper will go from red to blue
What is the test for carbonates?
Add dilute HCl to test sample, is carbonates are present then it will fizz with CO2
