What is the double circulatory system
A
When blood goes through the heart twice to get back to the same place

A
The blood only travels through blood vessels

A
Renal means of kidney Hepatic means of liver Mesenteric means of membranes that hold intestines in place iliac means of the ileum bone of pelvis Subclavian means under clavicle

Why are ventricles thicker than atria
A
More force is needed to pump more blood to the rest of the body

Why is the left ventricle thicker than the right
A
It has to pump the blood further around the body against higher pressure compared with right ventricle
