Rejected take-off
- Thrust levers……Idle
- ATS disconnect……Depress
- Brakes……Apply max
- Flight spoilers……Deploy
- Thrust reversers……Apply max
Engine fire or severe damage in flight - at a safe altitude
- Thrust lever……Confirm and idle
- Thrust lever……Confirm and shut-off
- ENG FIRE switch……Push
- Boost pump switch affected engine……Off
If warning persists after 10 seconds: Fire bottle……Discharge
If warning persists after 30 seconds: Other fire bottle……Discharge
Double engine failure
- Continuous ignition……On
- Airspeed……Min 240 KIAS
Engine fire or severe damage on the ground
- Park brake……Set
- Thrust lever……Confirm and shut off
- ENG FIRE switch……Push
- Boost pump switches……Both off
If warning persists after 10 seconds……Bottles 1 and 2 discharge
JETPIPE OVHT (Jet-pipe overheat)
Affected engine: 1. Thrust lever……Confirm and retard slowly until message out
REV UNLOCKED
In flight - affected engine:
- Thrust lever……confirm and idle
- Thrust Rev PBA……EMER STOW
- Airspeed……max 200 KIAS
Post engine shut-down: Engine Tailpipe Fire
Affected engine:
- Dry motor……Until ITT below 150º C or starter limit (90 seconds)
Engine Overspeed
Affected engine:
- Thrust lever……Confirm and retard until engine responds
Engine Overtemperature
Affected engine:
- Thrust lever……Confirm and retard until ITT below limit
Uncommanded Acceleration
On ground, affected engine:
- Thrust lever……Confirm and shut-off
In flight, affected engine:
- Thrust lever……Confirm and idle. Check engine response
CABIN ALT message or Uncontrollable loss of cabin pressure.
Emergency Descent.
- Oxygen masks……Don/ 100 oxygen
- Crew comms……Establish
- Pass signs……Both on
- Pass Oxygen……Deploy
- Descent……Initiate (to 10,000 feet or MSA if higher)
- Thrust levers……Idle
- ATS Disc……Depress
- Flight spoilers……Deploy Max
APU FIRE
- APU Fire switch……Push
If warning persists after 5 seconds:
- APU Fire bottle……Discharge
Ditching or forced landing
- L and R Packs……Off
- EMER DEPRESS……On
Passenger evecuation
P1:
- Park Brake……Set
- Ground spoilers……Disarm
- Flight spoilers……Retract
- Both thrust levers……Shut-off
- Evacuation……Initiate
- APU and ENG FIRE switches……Push
P2:
- Both PACKS……Off
- EMER DEPRESS……On
- ATC……Notify
P1:
- BATT Master……Off
EMER PWR ONLY (only emergency power available)
- ADG Manual Deploy Handle……Pull - at least 1 second, then stow
- AC ESS BUS……Check powered
When ADG power established:
- Stab trim CH2……Engage
- Engine instruments……Verify N1, N2 and ITT
