What phrase should you use to assess what you need to do for each question to gain full marks? Also what does it stand for?

Topic- What topics are the focus
Focus- make a plan
How do you satisfy the requirements of the Discuss command word?
Discuss the advantages/for and disadvantages/against of the topic, YOU MUST say why in relation to performance.
Also, give examples if possible.
How do you satisfy the requirements for the command word Justify?
I need to present evidence.
For each available mark use an example and explain the effect/outcome in relation to the question
How do you satisfy the requirements for the command words Explain, Suggest and Outline?
Firstly, Idenitfy or define the topic (s)
Secondly, clarify why or how something happens, in relation to the topic.
Finally, give an example where possible
How do you satisfy the requirements for the command word Analyse and Evaluate?
Explain (give examples) the strengths and weaknesses of the topics
Then examine the Impact/outcome to performance
Finally, give your opinion
How do you satisfy the requirements for the command word Define?
Specify meaning (as if you looked it up in the dictionary)
What are the allocation of marks for an 8 mark question?
What are the allocation of marks for a 15 mark question?
8 mark= AO1- 2 marks AO2- 3 marks AO3- 3 marks
15 mark= AO1- 4 marks AO2- 5 marks AO3- 6 marks
What command words should you follow for each Assessment objective (AO1/2/3) ?
AO1 Define or identify
AO2 Apply (Explain) your AO1 point to the athlete/person
AO3 Evaluate/Analyse your point and explain the outcome

How could you structure your essay to achieve full marks?
Q1. Evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies being used to overcome specific barriers that may prevent women from becoming football officials. [8 marks]
An effective approach is to write a paragraph that focuses on a single point, within this paragraph move from AO1 to AO2 to AO3 for each point you make. For example.
Paragraph 1
AO1 (identify) - A barrier that effects the number of females becoming officials in football is a lack of Role models.
AO2 (Apply)- There are currently a limited number of female officials (role models) and the majority of these work in the women’s game which is not covered extensively in the media
AO3 (Evaluate)- by increasing the media coverage of women’s football/female officials this will increase the number of role models for other women to look up to, the outcome of this would be more female officals.
Paragraph 2
AO1 (identify)- A strategy that could counter barriers for potential female football officials is to provide education to overcome stereotypes.
AO2 (Apply)- This could help remove the social stigma that suggets females do not belong in football because it is a physically strenuous sport, as people will appreciate women are capable of being officials.
AO3 (Evaluate)- The outcome of this would be that women would be less likely to face prejudice like sexist comments, which would create a more inclusive enviornment and increase the number of female officals.

When making an AO3 point remember the phrase “on the other hand”. This is because you may be able to give the opposite point to gain another AO3 point.

Positive AO3 point = Social media can help to promote female role models in football, particulalry within officiating. The outcome of this will be more young girls will see women officiating which will help them believe they can do the same thing, which will lead to more female officials.
Negative AO3 point= While social media can be used to build support networks and provide information there is an increased risk that it may also be used to make sexist comments which will negatively impact the number of female officials
