What are some things that the MT must inform the client before beginning treatment?
Consent to treat includes:
Goal of treatment, position of client, that the client will be draped everywhere besides the areas being worked on…… check rattray.
What do you do if the Client worries the treatment will be painful or Uncomfortable?
You inform the client that during the treatment the pressure can be adjusted.
And you advise the client that afterwards the client may even feel a lil uncomfortable but that this is normal.
How do you successfully communicate the treatment plan?
You do this by informing the client so they feel more relaxed and that they have a sense of will happen.
While doing this you choose words that make sense to the client to make the Consent informative and Concise.
