A

Shows how there is an irresponsible use of power in every aspect of society and shows how the upper classes priorities and not where they should be. Also the fact there are multiple scenarios sparks debate and multiple interest allowing for a deeper and more emotional connection with the audience.

Q

why is it useful that the place it in 1912?

A

priestly is allowing his characters to tell the future incorrectly showing how just because someone has money, there not always correct. All the events mentioned in the play, a very culturally and politically important; by all the comments relevant to these historical moments being incorrect, it creates a automatic distrust and also discredits. Anything said by characters that made those statements
